Blue Marble Releases TAB Reader

Blue Marble Geographics has released a developer tool for directly reading native MapInfo map files directly. The TAB Reader is a 32-bit DLL (dynamic link library) that provides a COM object library interface for reading the native, proprietary MapInfo file format directly, without conversion.

Are you building your own application and want to handle native MapInfo map data (TAB files) directly? Does your application currently handle MIF (MapInfo Interchange Format) files? Would you rather be handling native MapInfo map data directly? The TAB Reader provides access to the features within a native MapInfo TAB file, with graphical properties, geographic properties, and attributes. You can use this information to support drawing, query, analysis, or other specific functionality that you require within your application
