Global Mapper Certification Programs

Public Training Certification

Whether you are a GIS professional or just starting a career that requires the use of GIS software, Blue Marble Geographics’ training options will provide the tools you need to succeed. We are pleased to offer frequent public training classes leading to certifications in Global Mapper® and Lidar Processing. The Certification Program recognizes qualified individuals who are proficient in the use of Blue Marble Geographics software. Successful attendees will be issued a certificate of completion and an official certification logo to display in documents such as emails and resumes.

Global Mapper Certification is offered to individuals who successfully complete both Global Mapper and Lidar Processing classes. This incorporates all aspects of the software’s spatial data processing capabilities. Certification is version-specific and we recommend renewing every two years as new and enhanced functionality is added to the software.

Student Certification

Blue Marble Geographics understands the importance of investing in the geospatial professionals of tomorrow. New to the Certification Program is an opportunity for current students and recent graduates to boost their resumes with professional GIS software qualifications.

Interested students can apply to the program for the opportunity to attend a remote, instructor-led training course hosted by Blue Marble Geographics. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certificate recognizing their knowledge of the Global Mapper® software.

Similarly to the Public Training Certification, the Student Certification is offered to individuals who successfully complete all required hours of both Global Mapper and Lidar Processing classes.
