Once your download is complete, simply run the downloaded file to install Global Mapper application. When you start Global Mapper, at the bottom of the license screen you can automatically request a 2 week trial license via the internet. 64-bit Global Mapper
If you run a 64-bit Windows version, there is a native 64-bit version of Global Mapper that you can install and use that will allow you to take full advantage of the extra memory available to 64-bit applications. You can download and install the 64-bit Global Mapper version from http://www.globalmapper.com/downloads/global_mapper_setup_64bit.exe . Note that your Global Mapper 13 license key will work in both the normal 32-bit version and the 64-bit version and you can install them both on the same machine with no problems.
