What’s New in the Global Mapper Lidar Module v22.1

Coinciding with the release of Global Mapper v22.1, a new version of the accompanying Lidar Module is also available. During this hour-long presentation, Blue Marble applications specialists will offer an overview of the module focusing on the new and updated functionality in the latest release.

Specific topics will include:

  • A new tool for improving the appearance of buildings extracted from a point cloud with perpendicular or parallel line segments.
  • Expanded tools for terrain painting including slope painting and freehand or trace-mode drawing.
  • Updated Pixels to Points options including restarting a canceled job and using scene clustering to handle very large data sets.
