Wed Aug 11, 2021
02:00 PM - 05:00 PM EDT

Show in My Time Zone

In this three-hour, hands-on workshop, we will explore some of the key functionality of Global Mapper in the context of teaching the fundamentals of geospatial technology to college and university students. Following a series of simulated, real-world workflows, we will cover many aspects of GIS and spatial data analysis including drawing and vector editing, attribute management and thematic mapping, raster calculation, lidar processing, and terrain analysis, and much more. During this instructor-led workshop, Blue Marble application specialists will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the workflows or other functionality within the software. There is no cost to attend although registration is required. All registered attendees will receive a link to download the requisite data files and a temporary Global Mapper license to enable hands-on participation.
