Lidar Processing Training with Screen & Paper

Using Global Mapper Pro, this training explores all aspects of LiDAR processing, from initial data quality assurance to 3D analysis. The course further provides an introduction to the structure and characteristics of LiDAR data before continuing with a series of examples demonstrating point cloud visualization, editing and analysis capabilities.

Prerequisites: Participants have an understanding of basic GIS principles and preferably have experience with Global Mapper. To make best use of the time available, the following topics will not be covered in the class: basic functionality of the software, such as file management, interface navigation, tool selection, etc.

Participants who are new to Global Mapper are strongly encouraged to register for the 15-hour Global Mapper training.
