Lidar Processing Training with Danysoft

In recent years, point cloud data has been introduced into mainstream GIS processes, and its use and utility is becoming much more widespread and diverse. As a spatial product, lidar is the raw material from which a wide variety of 3D data sets are generated.

Using Global Mapper Pro, this training will explore all aspects of lidar and point cloud processing, from initial data quality control to 3D analysis.

The structure and characteristics of lidar data will be presented before following a series of workflows that demonstrate the software’s point cloud visualization, editing, filtering, and analysis capabilities.
