This Global Mapper Beta 27.0 download and license is valid from March 5, 2026 to April 13, 2026. Please use this time to thoroughly test the software, with specific focus on the newly added functionality.

Check out the new features:

• GeoCalc built into Global Mapper
  

  All projections and coordinate transformations now use GeoCalc for improved accuracy

• Expanded File Format Support
  

  Includes LAS 1.5, TFADS-O export, Trimble GGF export, and E57 export (Pro)

• Enhanced Lidar QC
  

  Strip alignment and the enhanced lidar QC tool with ground control point based adjustments are found in the QC tools submenu of the Lidar Analysis dropdown

• Guided Breakline Extraction
  

  Semi-Automated Breakline Extraction can be accessed from the Analysis toolbar menu

• Updated Viewshed Analysis
  

  The updated viewshed analysis tool, including optimized transmitter placement, can be accessed through the Analysis toolbar or through the Terrain Analysis dropdown menu

• AI Image Analysis Update
  

  All our machine learning tools, including new land cover models, can be accessed through the Deep Learning dropdown menu or the Deep Learning toolbar

• Improved Photogrammetric Processing
  

  Faster and higher quality mesh generation from aerial photos can be accessed thorough the Pixels to Points tool on the Lidar toolbar
