Blue Marble GeoTalks is a free, day-long online gathering of geospatial professionals and GIS enthusiasts who share a common interest in Blue Marble's geospatial technology. This innovative conference format will offer a mix of company news, product development updates, tips and tricks, and most importantly, a range of engaging presenters who will share their experiences using Blue Marble's software products. Check out the Archive section to see examples of presentation topics from previous conferences.
In the past, Blue Marble User Conferences were held in a variety of specific locations throughout North America and beyond. Obviously, this arrangement benefited those who live in the immediate area but caused financial and logistical problems for those from further away wishing to attend. In 2019, we are expanding the accessibility of this knowledge-rich experience to a global audience by transforming the conference into an online event, which you can now access from the comfort of your home or office.
The Blue Marble GeoTalks agenda will include morning and afternoon sessions and you are welcome to log in for the entire day or for the sections which are of particular interest to you. The conference is free and is open to both Blue Marble software users and non-users alike. Preregistration is required and space is limited so if you are planning to attend, we recommend you sign up soon to reserve your slot.
The organizing committee is currently reviewing the presentation proposals and a detailed program outline will be published before the end of January.
All of the Blue Marble GeoTalks presentations will be recorded and will be made available exclusively to registrants shortly after the event. This ensures that all who register will have access to the complete conference content if you are unable to attend the entire live event because of time zone issues or other logistical considerations.
