Extra Downloads

After installation has completed, click the Extra Downloads button to see options for downloading additional files:

Python Scripting Support - Python must be installed on your machine in order to run Python scripts in Global Mapper.

DXF/DWG Support Files - AutoCAD coordinate system description files that are used during file import and export. These allow Global Mapper to read and embed coordinate system information for those formats.

Small Python Sample Scripts - Beginner example scripts showing simple workflows using shape files, tiffs, etc.

Large Python Sample Scripts - Advanced, more complex scripts that use lidar, and Pixels to Points data.

Deep Learning Analysis - These files are required to use the Deep Learning Analysis tools, and are the same files that can be manually downloaded from the Configuration Menu, or automatically when opening the tool in GM.
