Selecting all Area Features Below a Size Threshold

Vector area features sometimes contain small area features that are undesirable for the analysis. This may occur, for example, when using the Create Area Features from Equal Values tool to automatically generate area features. The Selecting all Area Features Below a Size Threshold tool selects area features based on size. Selected features can be removed, edtied, etc. This tool can also be used a general query of area features by size, including by combining it with the Invert Selection tool.

This tool can be accessed from multiple locations:
- Right-click with the Digitizer, or open the Digitizer menu, and go to the Advanced Selection Options sub-menu and choose Select All Area/ Island Smaller than Size.
- Open the Digitizer Toolset, choose this option from the Advanced Selection Options dropdown menu, and click Select.

Once activated, a window will appear where you can input the area value to be used to search for Area Features smaller than.
