Global Mapper Training Agenda

This intensive program introduces all of the major components of Global Mapper using simulated real-world scenarios and workflows.

The instruction technique is hands-on so each attendee should have a Windows-based laptop computer with the latest build of Global Mapper installed. If necessary, a temporary license file will be provided to enable all of the functionality of the software for the duration of the class. All data used during the class will be provided via download prior to the class.

For users who are new to Global Mapper, a concise self-guided Getting Started package will be sent before the class. This package will include an array of materials and resources that will help new users understand the layout of the software as well as some of its basic features and functions. The intention of this package is to ensure that the classroom-based instruction focuses on the practical applications of Global Mapper. If supplementary training is required on some of the introductory components, a short web-based session can be arranged before the class. For more information and pricing, contact training@bluemarblegeo.com.

All attendees who successfully complete the course, along with the Lidar training class, will be issued an official certificate of completion and will be recognized as Certified Global Mapper users.

Training Agenda

As a means to incorporate as much of Global Mapper’s functionality as possible into the instruction process, attendees will be given the opportunity to follow a series of preconfigured workflows. While these workflows will typically focus on a specific component of Global Mapper, they will involve the use of a wide variety of tools, such as the Digitizer, Control Center, Configuration settings, etc.
