In part two of the What’s new in Global Mapper v24 webinar series, our focus shifts to Global Mapper Pro. First introduced with the release of version 23, the Pro version includes numerous advanced geospatial tools, with a specific focus on lidar and point cloud management and analysis. In this session, we will explore the latest additions to Global Mapper Pro, which complement the core functionality that is available in the standard version. The new features available in Global Mapper v24 include: 

  • A Script Builder to more easily create Global Mapper Scripts from the Global Mapper user interface.
  • Variography and Kriging for the generation of a kriged prediction layer.
  • Global Mapper Mobile Package files merging through the Mobile Data Management tool.
  • Swath Separation Image creation in line with the USGS Lidar Base Specification.
