This download file can be used for Single User, Dongle and Network license types.
The Geographic Transformer will run in an evaluation mode immediately after you install it. You will be able to evaluate the product with any ONE of your own images (or with any of the images included within the Getting Started Guide). You can purchase a single user, dongle, or network licenses for Version 6.1.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Laptop users with a docking station must activate the software in the undocked state. All users with both wireless and fixed NICs should disable the wireless/NIC temporarily before activating the software and then activate using a wired connection.
If you are installing this version as an upgrade to previous version, please follow these directions:
Note: Calculator 7.0 workspaces are not compatible with 7.4 workspaces, however, latter version workspaces should be ok. To be safe you should make notes on your workspaces prior to installing 7.4.
1.) If you have created custom Coordinate Systems, please move your 'geocalc.dat' file (the parameter database) to a new location to avoid any custom coordinate systems being overwritten.
2.) If you had Calculator 7.0 installed and have created custom Coordinate Systems there, please backup your 'custom.xml' found in 'C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Blue Marble Geographics\Geographic Calculator\7, 0, 0, 0\DataSource'.
3.) Uninstall your previous version.
4.) Install Blue Marble Desktop. This will insure we install our latest version of the geocalc.xml data source.
5.) Once you have Blue Marble Desktop running, you can import your old geocalc.dat file by selecting 'Import GeoCalc DAT' from the Datasource menu.
6.) To use a previous custom.xml, it will need to be copied to the following directory for Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Blue Marble Geographics\Blue Marble Desktop\DataSource\ or for Windows Vista: C:\ProgramData\Blue Marble Geographics\Blue Marble Desktop\Datasource
7.) Please see the Release Notes for more details of this process.
