Upgrading From Single To Floating License
Follow these steps to upgrade to a Floating License from a Single-User license:
1. Run the application and select File --> License Manager. This will display the License Manager interface (Figure 1). The Status field should display SINGLEUSER.

2. Click on the Upgrade to Floating License control button (Figure 2). You are prompted (Figure 3) with the dialog "Upgrade this single-user license to a floating license?" Click Yes. This displays a new section of the interface.

3. Before upgrading to a floating license, you must purchase a floating license upgrade. Click on the blue hyperlink (Figure 4) to place your order from the Blue Marble Geographics website (Figure 5).

4. Enter your floating license order number into the Order Number field (Figure 6). This is an optional step.

5. Remove the existing license by clicking on the Remove button (Figure 6, Step 3). You are prompted with a confirmation dialog (Figure 7). Click Yes.

6. You will then be presented with a dialog (Figure 8) that verifies the license removal, and an uninstall code. Record and report this code to Blue Marble for proof of license removal. Click OK.

7. Click on the blue hyperlink (in Step 4 on the interface) to directly access the Blue Marble website (Figure 9) and request a Floating License code.

8. When you have received the Floating License code, enter it into the License Code field (Figure 10) and click on the License button.

9. If you have a valid code, you will receive a dialog (Figure 11). Click OK.

Notice that the Status (Figure 12) field now reports FLOATING as the current license status.
