The GPS Information View

The GPS information view displays the GPS receiver position, elevation, speed, heading and UTC or Local time. Select "Set Preferences..." from within the "Options" menu to change the format and units of the displayed GPS information.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The latitude and longitude position displayed within the GPS information view is referenced to the geodetic datum set within your GPS receiver. You should always be aware which geodetic datum you are working with and the requirement to convert coordinates between geodetic datums if necessary.
