In order to access the GROUP
- Create Multi-Part Polygon from Selected Area Features command,
the polygon features to be grouped must be selected using Advanced
Selection Options. The options to group multiple polygons into a single
multi-part polygon can then be found under the Advanced Feature Creation
Options submenu.
These areas will then stay grouped as a multi-part polygon when exported
as a shapefile.
