Introduction

The Blue Marble Geographic TransformerÔ product has become a leading image transformation tool for Windows - worldwide. The foundational image transformation technology behind the Geographic Transformer is now available as a GeoDevelopment ComponentÔ for developers who require embedded image transformation support.

GeoTransform is an image transformation "engine" that converts image data from one coordinate system to another.

An application communicates with GeoTransform via a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) interface. Many development tools for Microsoft Windows can make use of GeoTransform, including C, C++, Visual C++, Borland C++, Symantec C++, Watcom C++, Microsoft Fortran, Borland Turbo Pascal, SQL Windows, Visual Basic, Borland Delphi and others.

GeoTransform uses a database to support pre-defined and user-defined geodetic objects, such as coordinate systems, datums, and ellipsoids. By doing so, GeoTransform supports an infinite amount of coordinate systems, datums, and ellipsoids.
