1: The Project Manager and Workspace Settings
Overview
The goals of
this lab are to:
- Familiarize
yourself with the Project
Manager.
- Set
up a Workspace
and save its settings for later use.
- Change
some default settings in the Preferences.
With the
Project
Manager and Workpaces,
you can set up and save Transformer's settings for each of your projects.
They allow you to standardize your layout settings and preferences as
well as the jobs and its tasks associated with your projects. You
can even Export Workspaces
with defined jobs to your fellow employees assisting their workflow by
setting up Transformer jobs as templates or views on the datasource to
guide them for work with coordinate systems.

This lab manual will take you through the process of setting up a project
and saving your workspace settings.
