Oblique Mercator Azimuth Extended
The Oblique Mercator Azimuth Extended projection is an extension of the standard Oblique Mercator Azimuth projection, intended to support the needs of Minnesota counties in the USA. Minnesota DOT provides values which may be used to increase the size of the ellipsoid being used in the calculations, as an "Elevation Shift."
The underlying Oblique Mercator Azimuth projection is the typical rectified version, centered on the natural origin.
The "Oblique Mercator Azimuth Extended" projection has the following parameters:
- Longitude at natural origin
- Latitude at natural origin
- Azimuth of the initial line
- Scale Factor at natural origin
- False Easting
- False Northing
- Elevation Shift
