Letter from the President:
Thank you for visiting our web site; allow me to be the first to welcome you. Let me give you a little background on our company.
Blue Marble Geographics is a mapping software company located in Gardiner, Maine. Being a successful software company is never easy, but we prospered through the depression of the early 90’s, the whirlwind of the dot.com era, the associated dot.bomb, and the resurgence of tech companies. We did it all from Maine! We are proud of the fact that on some small level our successful and growing company provides the basis for a challenging and appealing way of life for our employees. Can you tell? It is important to us to contribute to this great state’s burgeoning economy and help stop the infamous brain drain. Blue Marble is proud to be a tech company in a beautiful state, known around the world as a special place to live or visit.
As a business, our goal is to continue to grow and expand while offering great career opportunities for our employees. We endeavor to create a place of work that is comfortable, friendly, and stimulating. We are a team of tech folks who look to the positive whether things are tough or easy-going. We strive to be successful, and we feel that there is nothing wrong with enjoying the ride. If you’re going to spend the majority of your week at a place, it had better be a place you enjoy!
So if you’re tired of working in an unconstructive environment and want a new opportunity, visit our careers page. If you’re tired of using software built by people who don’t really care about what they do, then try out our software and give us your feedback. If you’re interested in training and custom work from a top-notch team that is respectful and responsive, then feel free to contact us. I’m sure you’ll find that Blue Marble does things differently. If you don’t have a positive experience, let me know. Email our feedback team with the subject line “For the President” and I will respond to you personally. The Blue Marble team will do its best to address your concerns.
Best Regards,
Patrick J. Cunningham President
