Gardiner, Maine - February 3, 2006 - Map file conversion for the map file formats that matter. Blue Marble Geographics (www.bluemarblegeo.com) announces the release of their new Geographic Map File Translator Version 3.0 with Flex LM-based licensing. "Flex LM licensing will offer our customers greater autonomy in managing their Geographic Translator licenses," remarked Kris Berglund, Blue Marble Director of Sales. "We are pleased to offer additional options to make this software not only easy to use, but easy to manage. We adopted the Flex LM method, as it offers more versatility by allowing users to check-out licenses from a shared network installation."
The Translator has the latest support for ESRI Shapefiles, MapInfo TAB and MIF, AutoDesk DWG and DXF through v2006, Microstation DGN, and import of ESRI .e00 format.
